Okay, we did it. We sprung for a new bedding set, even new sheets. Holy moly. I shelved the bath/linen closet and found the perfect hampers for here and the walk-in closet. Just pick 'em up and haul 'em to the laundry room.
The front room is carpeted. The entry landing is perfect. Some pic have been hung and Muffiny still lays in "her" spot, even without the table and chairs for cover.
This rear view will be changing.

Halalujah, the first phase of the move is done.
Today is a special day. We made it past the final inspection, which was a hoot. His concern was we didn't have steps to the front door. Well dah, we haven't had steps there in over five years and it wasn't a part of this project. Then he knit picked about not enough lag bolts for the balcony. He never even went through the new rooms in the house. Go figure. Holy moly, Bill and I laughed when he left. Then we headed to town and signed the loan papers and rushed home to start moving. Yes, Ty is right, our stuff is heavy. Bill and I laughed after I made the bed up. It's time to splurge and buy a new bedding set. This one is about 20 years old, lol. It'll be fun to see where the girls land tonight. I think Penny will be excited to have "her" chair back in the bedroom and out of the garage.
Bill is excited to have this gorgeous room. There's plenty more stored in the garage right now.

The master bath is almost completed
Last Thursday we got serious about the bathroom. Bill put down the hardy board. Saturday I put down the tile. Sunday I got the grouting done. Today Tuesday, the plumbing was hooked up.
Roy the plumber did the final hook ups today. Everything works and I'm ready to go in and fire up the jetted tub. Final touches will be the tile around the tub and the trim tile around the floor. Need a shower door, but a temp shower curtain is up so Bill will be able to try it out. Love the new vanity, which has a full width bottom drawer. Need to install closet shelves, but it's at least usable. Hope to have the final inspection tomorrow and start moving in to the new digs. Can't wait.

A facelift for the garage.
The front of the garage looks fantastic with its face lift. There was leftover siding from the house and it was decided instead of just painting the garage this was the thing to do. Of course, it looks so good that the other three sides may require more than paint. Thankfully we're about out of projects for this year. Time to reload the piggy bank, lol.
The soffets have been a sore spot for along time. At this time of the year the starlings love trying to build nests in the peak areas on little ledges. Well, they're up against Bill who is always determined that they won't. So enters Mike with a plan for the soffets. It's an awesome fix and looks terrific.
